HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

INDEPENDANCE DAY:

 The WORLD, as seen in a recent Religious Map,

Shows the United States as the CENTER of Christian Belief.

Let us NOT forget; without OUR INDEPENDANCE,

THE CHRISTIAN CENTER

Would NOT be. 

God's Candle - Read the rim - The Light of God, The Power of God,

THIS CANDLE NEVER BURNS OUT!

As MANY of our readers  know, One BEAUTIFUL morning, while I sat in my recliner, 

reading the paper, having my cup of Coffee, I HAD A visitor --- The Holy Spirit:

 I looked out over our patio And HEARD that voice, gently whisper into my ear,
 "I want MY word spread, I have MUCH TO SAY TO THOSE WHO WILL "READ." 

WRITE! - I will TELL YOU you WHAT,  WRITE!

The other day I was cleaning out drawers of accumulated "Stuff," (Per orders of the "Commanding General" ( I have been married to for 56 years. )

   I found a paper from my Dad's effects. Old and worn, written as a Motivational

 commercial "pitch," a "take off" on the 23 Psalm. I liked  it and soon I re-wrote

the paper, MAKING IT GOD'S PROMISE.

The Lord is my pacesetter;

I shall not rush.
He tells me; STOP and rest, for quieter times.
He provides me with visions of stillness,
Which RESTORES my serenity.
He provides a path of calmness,
calmness of mind,
Through periods of stress or failure.
His guidance is peace, forgiveness.
Even though what I must accomplish,
Each day, I shall not be concerned,
His presence is around me always.

His timelessness, control of all important,
Keeps me in balance, forging ahead.
In the midst of my hectic activity He
Provides refreshment, confidence through
His word. He anoints my mind with the oil of
His promise of strength in all circumstances.
My cup of joyous thought overflows,
Surely His peace He promised mankind
Shall be as the ripened fruit of my labor.

I shall walk at the pace set by
MY LORD,
And dwell with Him in his house,
FOREVER.
