  To this point, we have concentrated on TRUTH in all writing that pertains to Christianity. The way to INSURE you are getting the truth from these or any other such Christian pages is to see Scriptural Reference INCLUDED in the subject matter so YOU can

be sure you are reading...IS THE TRUTH!

We will deviate from the subject at HAND, NOT TRUTH, just what else we or any other

Christian page has to say, AND if they back their contentions with Scriptural Reference!

As below, Leviticus 25:47-54

SERVICE TO GOD

                                       God never puts you in the wrong place to serve Him.

Leviticus 25:47-54

 47 And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family:

 48  After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:

 49 Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

 50 And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.

 51 If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

 52 And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

 53 And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.

 54 And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.

SERVICE UNDER THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT

When we think, or are reminded at Easter, of THE DEATH OF CHRIST, we MUST consider

Jesus' Blood as payment of ALL DEBT that is related to, in Leviticus and The Old Testament. Jesus BROKE THE BONDS ESTABLISHED by THE OLD TESTAMENT. Somewhat confusing, to say the least, but TRUE.

We MUST REMEMBER God set RULES in The New Testament also. The sacrifice of Jesus as a "lamb without blemish," {using Old Testament language,} Jesus, FULLY MAN, FULLY GOD, Jesus' rising to his Father in Heaven. As Christians, as pointed out in Scripture;

we are duty bound to REPENT of our Sins, and we must CONTINUE to repent as long as we sin against God.

THUS WE SERVE THE LORD!

                                                                                 (Acts 3:19)

Repent, Then, and turn to God, so that our sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from The Lord. (Acts 3:19)

THE GRIP OF GOD'S GRACE

The result of Jesus coming to Earth as Fully God, Fully Man, HIS sacrifice at Golgatha on the rugged Cross, the temple curtain being torn apart, the exclamation of the Roman Soldier,"This WAS the Son of God," and so on, brings us GRAPHICALLY into The New Testament era.

 Serious problems can trouble our lives, yet none can shake us from God's grace.  That Grace of placing HIS only Son on the Cross to die a miserable death, means our hearts MUST remain close to Jesus as our Lord, and our hope remain focused on the Lord's return.  Jesus is our Lord, all of our greatest blessings lie ahead.

Psalm 16: 1-11

   1 Keep me safe, O God,
       for in you I take refuge.

 2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord;
       apart from you I have no good thing."

 3 As for the saints who are in the land,
       they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.

 4 The sorrows of those will increase
       who run after other gods.
       I will not pour out their libations of blood
       or take up their names on my lips.

 5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup;
       you have made my lot secure.

 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
       surely I have a delightful inheritance.

 7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
       even at night my heart instructs me.

 8 I have set the LORD always before me.
       Because he is at my right hand,
       I will not be shaken.

 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
       my body also will rest secure,

 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave,

       nor will you let your Holy One see decay.

 11 You have made known to me the path of life;
       you will fill me with joy in your presence,
       with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
